Paranoia Agent [Ep. 7–13]

Paranoia Agent is Satoshi Kon’s first and only television series with Madhouse, following his first three feature films made with the studio. Across 13 episodes, the city of Musashino is terrorised by a mysterious boy on rollerblades who attacks residents with a golden baseball bat. As two detectives investigate, links between the victims emerge: they are people under intense pressure, looking for a way to escape reality. Moving between mystery and the supernatural, the series offers a sharp portrait of anxiety and fear in contemporary society.
