Antestreia: Aquí

Premiered at Cannes this year, Aquí adapts the Jesus Trilogy by Nobel Prize winner J. M. Coetzee. In a dystopian world, Simón takes in David, a child he meets during a sea crossing towards an unnamed land. On arrival, Inés joins them, and the three form an unusual emotional nucleus in which the idea of family is reinvented with every gesture. But as society imposes rules and distrusts difference, David refuses to be shaped by it and asserts himself as its opposite: imagination and freedom. Parenthood becomes an uncertain crossing, a search without answers in which loving also means accepting that we may not understand.
