The Last Song of the Birds

Inspired by the last recorded song of the Kauaʻi ʻōʻō in 1987, this performance reflects on loss and the silence that follows. Bird recordings, electronic sound and visuals by Bianca Dacosta invite attention to the planet’s threatened sonic life.
