Jimmy Carr | Laughs Funny

Jimmy Carr is an award-winning comedian, writer and television presenter known for his dark humour and short, incisive jokes. Some see him as a politically incorrect provocateur who spares no one; others see a comic with improbably perfect teeth, an unmistakable laugh and apparently unchanging hair. Whatever the perspective, he has been scientifically considered the funniest comedian in the United Kingdom. One of the world’s biggest comedy box-office phenomena, Jimmy regularly performs to sold-out venues around the world, provoking laughter—and sometimes shocked gasps—in more than 50 countries. His previous tour, Terribly Funny 2.0, sold more than 1.2 million tickets worldwide and took him to new markets, including India and the United States. In an apparent attempt to retain the title of “Hardest-Working Man in Comedy”, he performed 293 shows in 145 cities, 12 countries and four continents in 2023; another 271 shows in 2024; and 285 more across 19 countries in 2025. His current tour, Laughs Funny, began with a United States tour on 17 April 2024, then travelled through the United Kingdom, Ireland and several European countries during 2025. In 2026, the pace continues with new stops in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Portugal.
