Excepção Fatal, David Ole

In a programme titled Excepção Fatal, composer and conductor David Ole challenges the continuing attachment of musical creation and practice to the sentimental cult of individual expression. The starting point is a contrast between the extraordinary technical mastery of today’s instrumentalists and the persistence of that expressive ideal. The concert features three world-premiere compositions written for the Criptobanda Musical de Paradela do Rio, which will be operated live from its headquarters through instantaneous video transmission.

Entry is free, with tickets available for collection at the venue on the day of the event. Each person may collect a maximum of two tickets.
