PROMENADE 2026 - Carta Branca a Miguel Araújo

Concertos Promenade were introduced in Portugal by the Coliseu in 2005 to bring audiences of all ages closer to the finest stories and melodies of classical music. With artistic direction from Maestro Cesário Costa, commentary by Jorge Castro Ribeiro and multimedia design by Sara Botelho, children and adults are invited, one Sunday a month, to enter the atmosphere of one or more emblematic works and discover their stories and curiosities. In Carta Branca a Miguel Araújo, the Orquestra Clássica de Espinho is conducted by Cesário Costa, while Miguel Araújo joins as guest. He has chosen the entire programme, will perform some of his own songs and will introduce the classical works he most enjoys. The source also lists the next Concertos Promenade, Uma Sinfonia Alpina by R. Strauss, for 29 November.
