Hair

Inspired by the Broadway musical of the same name, Hair is an anti-war comedy-drama set within the counterculture of the 1960s. Claude, a young man from Oklahoma, travels to New York to enlist in the Vietnam War, but meeting a group of hippies in Central Park leads him to question everything he believes. Music, psychedelic experiences, unconventional relationships and resistance to military recruitment draw Claude into a world shaped by dissent and social protest. Now regarded as a cult film, it remains a vibrant celebration of the era’s pacifist spirit and youth.
